Our Goldendoodle kennel is located in central Saskatchewan near Saskatoon. Our puppies are home raised with patience and compassion. We are extended families that enjoy the company of our Goldendoodles (both big and medium and petite sizes). Our puppies are well socialized, are quick to learn and make the perfect family members.

Goldendoodle History
Goldendoodles are a newly evolved, genetically modified blend of several generations of purebred lines. All breeds of dogs originated from the breeding of several purebred lines to create something new. For example, years ago (mid 1850's and later named in 1886) the Yorkshire Terrier was originally the blend of the Dandie Dinmont Terrier, Black and Tan Terrier (now extinct), the Skye Terrier and Maltese. The Doberman Pinscher (1892) was originally a blend of the German Pinscher, Rottweiler, Manchester Terrier and the Greyhound. Goldendoodle lines originated in 1992 by breeders whose goal was to develope guide dogs for people who had allergies. Goldendoodle lines involve blending the poodle (specifically the standard, moyen and miniature poodle) and originally the golden retriever. This initial breeding introduces an F1 generation. The F1 generation has wavy coat and generally for most individuals does not cause allergy symptoms. Finally breeders developed the second generation of goldendoodle which is named F1b. This second generation where a goldendoodle offspring is bred back to a poodle has more curl to its coat and definitely does not shed hair and is very hypoallergenic.
